Frequently Asked Questions

If your question is not listed, reach us at [email protected] or the contact page.

Are your methods archival?

Yes. Our protocols focus on pH-neutral substrates, controlled ventilation, and moisture staged release to minimize pigment migration. We advise UV filtering and cool, dry storage for longevity.

What materials do I need to start?

Begin with a press, blotting paper, ventilating spacers, and low-acid backing sheets. Our starter kits bundle these with a concise guide. Optional: hygrometer and desiccant for humid climates.

How long does pressing take?

Most specimens take 4–10 days. Thicker or high-moisture plants require additional paper changes and longer rest periods. Our catalog descriptions include estimated durations.

Which difficulty level should I choose?

Beginner courses build foundational handling and selection. Intermediate adds color retention strategies. Advanced focuses on composition and complex specimens.

How long do I have access to the materials?

Workshop resources are accessible for twelve months from enrollment. Downloads and checklists are yours to keep indefinitely.

What is your refund policy?

If a self-paced workshop doesn’t fit your needs, contact us within 7 days of purchase for assistance. For kits and tools, items must be unused to qualify for return per our Terms.

Do you offer private coaching?

Yes. Private Studio Intensives are tailored to your goals—from heirloom projects to boutique production. See the catalog under “Private.”

Do you ship internationally?

We ship kits and tools to many countries. Customs regulations vary; we do not ship live or fresh plant material. Shipping is calculated at checkout in your cart.
